  • How much will it cost me to enroll and attend Grace Outreach?

    The Grace Outreach program is tuition-free. Once a student is admitted, there is a $40 registration fee for our daytime program which includes a GED calculator, journal and other course materials. We recommend that students purchase a GED math textbook as well. The materials fee for the evening program is $50 and is designed only for women who work during the day. There is also a $25 return fee for former students returning to Grace Outreach.

  • Where are you located?

    We are located on 151st street between Melrose and Courtlandt in the Bronx. Directions.

  • When can I start the program?

    Grace Outreach accepts new students throughout the year. Call us at 718-328-0580 to schedule an appointment for a placement test.

  • Who can attend Grace Outreach?

    Our program is open to women over 18 years old who speak and read English, are prepared to study for the GED and begin college or new careers.

  • How long will it take for me to get my GED?

    We will help you earn your GED as soon as possible. This generally takes one to six months, although some people require even more or less time.

  • I have already taken the GED and just need more points to pass one subject. Can you help me?

    At Grace Outreach, you focus only on the areas you need to pass. We will move this process along as quickly as possible, and get you on your way to college, training or employment.

  • Where will I take the GED exam?

    Grace Outreach works with testing sites throughout the city. We will do everything we can to get you a convenient location and time to take your exam.

  • What if I am not good at math?

    GED math is difficult, however, our expert teachers and tutors will help you overcome the math at a comfortable pace even if you have never been successful at math before.

  • Can you help me find a job?

    We do not provide direct job placement. We strongly believe that a college education or quality training is the best way to secure the right job. We will help you identify and begin the path that is best for you.

  • Can I go to college if I get my GED?

    Yes. Studying at Grace Outreach and earning your GED is excellent preparation for college.
