Grace Outreach is proud to have established itself as an important cornerstone of the community fabric of the Bronx, as over 625 women have earned their GED diploma with us since 2004. We operate on a tight budget, yet our core competency in teaching the GED with effectiveness and individualized attention translates into solid results for our students.

Grace Outreach has achieved these results without one dollar of public funding and is made possible solely through the support of individual donors, organizations, and volunteers from our community.

Here's how you can support our students:

* $15 buys a calculator for each GO participant to use in math class
* $40 buys the books needed for each College Prep participant
* $80 covers the application fee for CUNY for one College Prep participant
* $150 covers the cost of one GED participant's placement exam, practice exam, and GED exam fees
* $250 covers the yearly software license for the on-line tutoring software GO utilizes
* $500 covers the cost of food at our yearly graduation ceremony
* $1,000 covers one week of tutor stipends where six of our graduates work alongside teachers and help current GED students with their assignments
* $2,000 covers the transportation costs for trips to college campuses for two semesters
* $3,000 covers the monthly rent on our teaching space in which we see over 150 different students each month

Join us in our mission to transform lives by giving women a second chance to succeed. Contact Andrew Rubinson to learn more.

From Our Students

"Math was a really tough subject for me but at Grace Outreach you get a lot of one-on-one time. It’s not like you’re in school; it’s like hanging out with your friends and learning something at the same time. I would recommend this school to anybody, especially if you had a hard time in high school. " Quevarda Cummings
